Outreach

Carl Perkins CenterSt. Matthew’s participates in several outreach programs, such as our monthly donation of items to the Exchange Club – Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Covington.

The Women of St. Matthew’s request new items each month, such as non-perishable food items, which are collected in the basket in the parish hall and taken to the Carl Perkins Center at the end of the month.

Members are asked to bring non-perishable items to fill the basket this month.

In the spirit of Matthew 25, the St. Matthew’s community, along with St. Anne’s of Millington, provides a meal to Carl Perkins Center service recipients on the third Thursday of each month. The churches alternate months in their service.
